The Arabian Yemeni Cement Company Limited in Mukalla presented a fully equipped ambulance to the Hadramout University Family Medicine Center.
The handover took place at the company's headquarters between Eng. Waheeb Abdulwahid Al-Azab, General Manager of the company, and Dr. Abdullah Saleh Babair, Vice President of Hadramout University for Academic Affairs. The event was attended by Dr. Hadi Al-Sabban, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Afaf Abdullah Al-Shadhli, Director of the Center; Mr. Abdulrahman Salem Bashaib, Administrative Director of the Center; and Eng. Abdullah Al-Labni, Assistant General Manager of the Arabian Yemeni Cement Company.
During the handover, the General Manager praised the efforts of the university's leadership in fulfilling its educational mission. He noted that this support comes as part of the company's commitment to community service across various sectors, highlighting its collaboration with the local authority in expanding the "Abdullah Ghareeb" mountain pass connecting the coast to the valley. He added that the company contributes to the education and health sectors by providing equipment and other forms of support, while also revealing plans to establish a training center to upskill its workforce across various specialties, expressing hope for future cooperation with the university in this area.
For his part, Dr. Babair expressed his gratitude to the Arabian Yemeni Cement Company for its continuous support to Hadramout University, conveying the greetings of the University President, Dr. Mohammad Saeed Khanbash, to the company's management and board of directors.
