Systems Specialist (Technical / Functional)

First: Responsibilities and Job Duties

  1. Evaluate business requirements and align them with the standard functions of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle & Yemen Soft).
  2. Conduct Gap Analysis between current business needs and the standard functionalities available in Oracle & Yemen Soft systems.
  3. Perform setup and implementation of Oracle & Yemen Soft system modules in accordance with defined business requirements.
  4. Conduct the necessary testing for software modules within Oracle & Yemen Soft systems.
  5. Assist in preparing and developing IT project plans.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical or functional issues faced by users to improve workflow efficiency.
  7. Identify system-related issues (performance, connectivity, stability), report them to the concerned parties, and follow up with technical support to ensure resolution and minimize operational interruptions.
  8. Coordinate and work with database administration and development teams during system integration processes to ensure data integrity and avoid system conflicts.
  9. Adhere to all IT policies, operational processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a disciplined and consistent manner.
  10. Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
  11. Handle any additional requirements or tasks that may arise in the future.

Second: Required Qualifications and Skills

  1. Minimum of two years of experience in implementing ERP systems (Oracle & Yemen Soft) and providing technical and functional support.
  2. Prior experience in ERP system lifecycle implementation is essential.
  3. Previous experience with ERP tools such as Forms, Oracle Reports Builder, Workflows, and Crystal Reports is preferred.
  4. Previous experience with programming languages such as PL/SQL is preferred.
  5. Strong experience in analyzing and documenting user requirements and business needs.
  6. Good knowledge of Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).
  7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  8. Preference will be given to candidates holding training certificates in ERP systems (Oracle & Yemen Soft) or Oracle Developer certifications.
