The Arabian Yemeni Cement
Company Ltd. (AYCCL) has inaugurated a 13.75 MW solar power plant equipped with
a 5.7 MWh energy storage system.
The plant features an
advanced smart solar tracking system and 22,000 bifacial solar panels designed
to maximize energy generation, alongside an advanced energy storage system. The
project represents a pioneering national model for clean energy and serves as a
catalyst for both the public and private sectors to accelerate the transition
toward renewable energy.
Rehabilitating
and landscaping an area exceeding 50,000 square meters within the factory
premises using local, drought-resistant trees and plants.
Impact: Reducing dust, improving air quality,
and providing a healthy and sustainable working environment.
