The Arab Yemeni Cement Company Ltd. has inaugurated a solar power plant with a capacity of 13.75 MW, along with an energy storage system of 5.7 MWh.
The plant features a smart solar tracking system and includes the installation of 22,000 bifacial panels to increase productivity, supported by an advanced energy storage system. This project represents a pioneering national model for clean energy and encourages both the public and private sectors to transition toward renewable energy.
Rehabilitating
and landscaping an area exceeding 50,000 square meters within the factory
premises using local, drought-resistant trees and plants.
Impact: Reducing dust, improving air quality,
and providing a healthy and sustainable working environment.
